Terms of Use
Last updated 26 October 2026
The basics
These terms cover your use of the Kaizen app on iOS and Android, made by Sancar Media (Deniz Sancar), United Kingdom. By using Kaizen you agree to them. On iOS, Apple's standard licence agreement also applies.
Your account
You can read the free lessons without an account. Subscribing to Kaizen Pro needs a free account, made with Sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to that Apple or Google account safe, because it is how you get back into Kaizen. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
Educational content only
Kaizen lessons are short summaries for general learning. They aren't medical, financial, legal or psychological advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions about your health, money or wellbeing. We work to keep lessons accurate, but we can't promise every detail is complete or current.
Free use and Kaizen Pro
You can read a limited number of lessons for free each day. Kaizen Pro is an auto-renewing subscription that removes the daily limit and lets you choose topics. It belongs to your Kaizen account, so it works on iPhone and Android when you sign in with the same account. Prices and billing periods are shown in the app before you buy.
Billing, renewal and cancelling
Payment is taken by Apple or Google when you confirm. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If a free trial is offered, you're charged when it ends unless you cancel first. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. Contact them directly to ask for one.
Fair use
Don't copy, resell or republish Kaizen's lessons in bulk, or try to break or reverse engineer the app. Sharing a single lesson with friends using the share button is fine.
Changes
We may update the app and these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you in the app. Using Kaizen after a change means you accept the new terms.
Liability
Kaizen is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from using the app or relying on its content. Nothing here limits rights you have under UK consumer law.
